The original Pen was introduced in 1959, the version I have (the PEN-EE) was introduced in 1961. It has a 28mm f/3.5 lens. That is equivelant to around 40mm on a full-frame camera. Look at that tiny little 22.5mm filter! It's a really compact camera, not much taller than a 35mm film roll.
